The Story of My Yellowstone Art Book

“An Artists View of Yellowstone”

When I decided to create an art book about my wonderful Yellowstone vacation, I had no idea of the obstacles and trouble I would encounter to finally get it printed correctly! I had ordered a few books and they came out okay, so I ordered nine more. To my horror, the covers of all nine of the books were printed wrong with a huge white border around the cover that should not have been there. (See the photo below on the far left.) This printing error was totally the printer’s fault and not mine. So I complained to the printer and they refunded my money. So what to do with nine Yellowstone art books with messed up covers? I decided to redo the covers of all nine books! The result was the book in the middle photo, below. And since I got the books completely free, I decided to give a few out as free gifts and sell the rest for a very low price.

Since I could no longer trust my printer with printing any more of these books, I found another photo print company called Mixbook. They had a top rating, so I set up my entire Yellowstone book using their software program. I had to make it a slightly different size than the first books I printed, but they came out great, as you can see in the photo on the far right.
